william o’neal ii is a queer poet & playwright from the American South, living and working in New York City. Their plays have been recognized & performed by Emory University, Out of Hand Theater, The Tank NYC, The Kennedy Center, & The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals. Their poems have been recognized & published by The Journal, The Talon Review, The WB Yeats Society of NY, & Cave Canem. They are also a staff writer for A World Wide Magazine, an independent NY based fashion mag.

william is currently developing a play with The Road Theater Company in Los Angeles & a poetry fellow at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
